Wake up at the crack of dawn
when the birds are singing and join local fishermen. By traditional boat (Jukung).
Try your hand at catching Mackerel, Tuna, or MahiMahi. Long line or net fishing. Dolphins can often be sighted frolicking in the water.

Kayaking
You can calmly paddle
your way around the coastline,
and get an other perspective looking
from the sea towards the land.
Sometimes, one can spot quite a few fish
when the water is nice and calm.
If one stays within the breakwaters
it is safe for beginners.

Bukit Gumang (Gumang Hill)
Hike up to the old temple
on the peak of Gumang hill. Just behind Samuh village in Candidasa.
With glorious panoramic views of Amok bay, Candidasa and Mount Agung.
Family groups of friendly monkeys
are often encountered on the way.
A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to help restore the temple.

Small Island (Gili Mimpang)
Just 15 minutes by traditional boat (Jukung)
to the small uninhabited island off Candidasa, excellent snorkeling in clear waters, colorful fishes , coral and turtles can be seen sometimes.
The currents can be quite strong sometimes,
so some experience is necessary.

Spearfishing
A chance to catch a fish,
you can go by traditional boat

Kastala-Tenganan Village
Starting at the village of Kastala
and walking along beautiful rice terraces,
view of Gunung Agung can also be seen.
The trip will end in the Bali Aga village of
Tenganan and after visit on the way back to Candidasa a coffee plantation and taste
coffee Luwak, and see vanilla beans grow.

Mount Agung
Climb Bali highest mountain
(3.142 meters) to watch the sunrise.
Leave Candidasa by car at around 1 am
to Pasar Agung in Selat village.
The climb will take approx 4 hrs
to reach the summit.
